Daphnis nerrii: how to feed adults?

Hello, coud someone help me about how to feed D. nerii imagos? I tried artificial feeding by hand but they refuse to eat.
Could it be useful using plastic tubes filled with a solution of honey+water as artificial flowers?

you have to catch the adults in your hands and then use a little needle to unroll their proboscis to help them to feed themselves.
